An awesome Metallicat
You won't believe this. Someone is actually drawing Metallica cartoons where the band members are the characters from Garfield quoting Metallica all the time.
In the cartoons Metallica frontman James Hetfield takes the role of Garfield. His owner Jon Arbuckle is drawn as Lars Ulrich and Odie takes the role of Kirk Hammet.
Take this strip for example. It's obviously one of the most perfect blends of Metallica and Garfield.
