The crazy thing about live concerts is just about anything can happen. From pole-dancing injuries to an overdose of pigeon poop, here are some of the best concert fails ever.
1.Justin Bieber Pukes on Stage
With a globe-trotting tour that put him on the road for over a year, a few mishaps are expected. Probably the most embarrassing happened in Phoenix back in September 2012 -- he threw up several times on stage. Bieber blamed this one on having had a glass of milk before the concert. Later concerts saw Bieber attacked by a male fan (who rushed the stage and was tackled by security) and later by a water bottle (which hit him right in the face).
2. Ashlee Simpson's Lip Sync Fail
It was the lip syncing fail that got heard around the world. In 2007 Ashlee Simpson went on Saturday Night Live, when all of a sudden -- the track started but she wasn't singing. Fail! Simpson blamed the problem on her band, who she said had started playing the wrong song.
3. Billie Joe Armstrong Goes Unhinged
Billie Joe Armstrong (front man for Green Day) is a pretty badass guy, but he went a little far at the 2012 iHeartRadio festival. In the middle of the concert he started ranting about Justin Bieber and then smashed his guitar. He then checked himself into rehab after the concert.
4. Jay-Z Spaces Out
During one of the Jay-Z Barclays center opening concerts in Brooklyn, Jay-Z surprised his fans and had his wife Beyonce come out to do some songs. She started off performing "Diva" and then "Crazy in Love" -- only Jay-Z forgot to come on stage to rap his side of the song. Why? He claimed he'd spaced out, because he'd been hypnotized by watching his wife on the monitors backstage.
5. Fergie Has An "Accident" On Stage
The Black Eyed Peas were late for their set. Fergie didn't get a chance for a bathroom break. The result? She peed her pants while performing.
6. Lady Gaga Fails at Doing the Splits
During an April 2011 concert,
Lady Gaga tried to straddle her piano and the chair -- but it didn't quite work. She fell on her butt.
7. Bird Poop Cancels Show
Back in July 2012, the Kings of Leon were performing at St. Louis' Verizon Ampitheatre only to find the stage came with an unexpected "bonus"... pigeons in the rafters. They experienced a steady rain of bird poop from the ceiling. Though they tried to keep going, Leon bassist Jared Followill finally called it quits after some droppings fell into his mouth. He claims he was hit by the pigeons on each of the first three songs in their 20 song set list -- he would have been covered head to toe by the end of the concert if he'd kept going. Fans were reimbursed for their
concert tickets due to the "unforeseeable circumstance."
8. Britney Confuses Sacramento with San Jose
Two years after her dazed opening at the 2007 VMAs, and supposedly on the rebound, Britney Spears mixed up Sacramento and San Jose while heading to the next stop of her Circus tour. The result was a stadium full of very unhappy fans.
