Here's a new song by Anna von Hausswolff from her upcoming new album. Whenever I listen to material by the Swedish artist, I'm a bit lost...
Yes, Hausswolff's music is special. It's emotional, mystical, raw, experimental,. it's got organ work going and last but not least it's art. Simple as that. Problem for me is: Besides all the temporary beauty the songs just don't stick with me. I'm able to listen to her music and feel utterly moved. But once it's over...it's over. I don't spend much time thinking about it afterwards. What's wrong with me?!
The new 10-minute song itself is part cover version and part original song. The part "Come Wander With Me" was composed by Jeff Alexander & Anthony Wilson for an episode of The Twilight Zone.
The song is taken from the new album "The Miraculous" which will be released on 13 November 2015. Stream it courtesy of Best Fit.
