The Knights Azul
Album stream ,

On 'Azul' New York orchestra The Knights play works by Osvaldo Golijov, Dvořák, and Sufjan Stevens together with famous Cello virtuoso Yo Yo Ma.

Azul, which means "Blue" in Spanish, has been written in 2006 for Yo Yo Ma by Osvaldo Golijov. The work counts as one of the best Cello pieces of this century and is the first recording of it ever.

We have labelled Azul with our editor's choice badge, which means we totally dig the record. Make sure you listen to it at least once. Azul will be released on Mar 31, 2017. Stream it courtesy of NPR. Also check out our The Knights artist profile to find eventual tour dates in your area and links to the official web and social media pages of The Knights.
